Since nine years the website serves as an official Marmaris website, as on March 13, 2003 www.mymarmaris.com was voted as the official website of Marmaris by MARTAV, Marmaris culture and tourism Association, whose goal had been to promote Marmaris on the international travel market.

Apart from up-to-date information Mymarmaris.com provides advertisement space to all local and international establishments, accommodations and agencies at nominal fees. Every Thursday there is a weekly village market in Marmaris, and the fruits that have come into season are oranges, limes, lemons, grapefruits and healthy vegetables.

Marmaris Motorcycle Festival
Marmaris Riders Club in Turkey will attract nearly 2,000 motorcyclists at the end of this month.

The Marmaris Motorcycle Festival, which is organized by the Marmaris Riders Club in cooperation with the leaders of the Marmaris Municipality will be held on June 24th, 25th, and 26th this year.

The venue for this years festival is Marmaris Gunnucek park, with its famous sweetgum (gunluk) trees. The park will be decorated with the various different riders clubs' and festival flags. Its expected that there will be shopping stalls for motorbike accessories placed around the harbour area. It should make for an interesting spectacle for holiday makers in the resort.

The riders will tour the natural scenery around Marmaris by day, possibly swimming in the turquoise seas, and socialising at Marmaris Gunnucek park during the evening.

STEP 1. fly to Dalaman or Bodrum or Rhodes which is another nearby international airport in Greece via sea route from Marmaris.
